The concluding diplomatic section specifying the chronological coordinates of the enactment, including the Year of the Incarnation (*Annus Domini*), the imperial or papal Indiction, the regnal year, month, and day.
Early English diplomas were among the earliest legal instruments in Western Europe to use the Dionysian *Annus Domini* dating system, popularised by the Venerable Bede.
